Please wait to bid, old info, I need to update this, give me a day or two, did not want to lose the listing..... Here is one of the popular Racal RA-6790/GM .5-30 MHz HF receivers, been hiding in my warehouse for a long time (since I moved to Ky). This unit is being as "USED" which means working, though I hate to do that as I know these things have those damn orange drop tantalums that can pop at any time, I normally offer as "Parts/Not Working" but this one is nice. This unit is complete, powers up, does self test, but the battery is flat. It has 5 IF filters, the 3.24 SSB filter, 400 Hz, 1.2 KHz, 6.8 KHz, and 16 KHz AM/CW/FM filters (the NSA complement of filters), a fact that makes this radio quite desirable and worth the money I am asking!! It has all covers and is mechanically in good condition. The displays in it are very useable, slightly fuzzy, the front panel is in nice shape,  the serial number is a high one, number XXXX and it has the LED backlight. Top and bottom covers are on the unit and it has the RS-232 interface card. No ISB.  This was a working unit, gone over by J Sommer. It is from when I had a large quantity of these that came from NSA, many years ago. I am selling this as used because it does power up, goes through self test and all the controls appear to be working fine,and  numbers on both displayschange properly.  If you are looking for one in good condition this is an excellent candidate. I notice that there have been NONE of these on eBay, complete or otherwise, for quite a while.
