It now has side seams and a new texture, a dotted pattern on both insides layers of the bag. A stiffer material for 2013 with a different design. Manufacture still rates the material as 4 mil. This roll has no printing on the bag. The bag material is built in China, can be frozen, short term boil, cupboard and fridge a pretty good all around bag material for daily use. BPA Free, FDA Approved for Food Saving and Vacuum Sealing. Built for suction style vacuum sealers for residential use. The cost of shipping is still on the rise. To save you the consumer money we will not be shipping this roll with the center cardboard. Let us know if you need the cardboard roller we will include one. 6 Rolls are all 11 inches wide x17 plus feet long Seal out air, seal in freshness Prevent freezer burn. Vacuum storage bags may be used frozen, refrigerated, microwave or quick boiling capable. This bag material although feels a bit thicker is a very high poly bag. Thus for long term boil as in Sous Vide Cooking or long term food storage the bags built in Italy are better suited and can be found in our eBay store.
