Pictures are of the actual birds you are getting eggs from, they are outstanding, all selected for huge perfect white crests with very few black feathers, only in front around the beak. These all have very iridescent black bodies and nice dark legs and toes. These chickens are very small, calm, and easy to handle, making excellent pets in addition to their ornamental value. They lay small white eggs. Fertility is excellent, and the hens lay very well. They are fed an endless supply of high quality 20% protein feed as well as all the fresh greens they want. They drink from special watering nipples ensuring clean, pure water at all times. Eggs are collected for no more than three and a half days before shipping to ensure freshness. We turn the eggs three times a day between collection and shipment to you. Our goal is to send eggs produced and handled under the best possible conditions, for best possible hatch. PLEASE REMEMBER - Although we will send super fresh eggs and handle them very carefully, shipping eggs and incubating eggs in general is a gamble. We do not guarantee that your eggs will develop or hatch. Hatch rates from these birds here at home have been near 100%.
