K-Type Thermocouple for Digital Thermometers 6" Stainless Steel Probe, thin 28" cable, Model TC-07 Range -58 to 1292°F    (-50 to 700°C) This is a great medium size stainless steel insertion thermocouple with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is housed at the tip of a 6 inch long stainless steel probe, which comes with a 2 inch small handle. It is important to keep the handle at room temperature. The maximum temperature on the handle is 200F (93C). It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see my shop for a good selection). We have made this with a thin, very flexible green wire, which is easier to use than the yellow wires on other probes. This probe can be inserted in liquids or any object you like to measure. It is much easier to clean than the thermocouple wire that comes with many thermometers. It can be usd in HVAC to measure furnace and duct temperatures. It has many applications in manufacturing, production as well as in science and laboratories. This is frequently used in schools and for science and science fair projects.
