INSTRUCTION FOR USE OF 8850 AND 8685 ROTOR The 8850 and the 8685 Rotors are intended for use in the Thermo IEC Multi and Thermo IEC Multi RF centrifuges. The rotors are an anodized aluminum; the covers are polyetherimide (Ultem). The rotors contain two-orings seals that close agaist the cover which prevent the dispersion of aerosols. Please see your centrifuge operation manual for information regarding the installation, removal, balancing and general maintenance of Thermo EIC rotors.
