The air temperature coming out of the registers in the master bedroom increased by 6 to 8 degrees, and the overall master bedroom temperature increased by about 3 to 4 degrees. Those long air duct runs no longer heat my basement instead of my bedroom. I have some other air ducts keeping the basement heated, but not as warm as the test of the house. The R-8 duct insulation was definitely worth it. The master bedroom temperature use to always be colder in the winter compared to the rest of the house, but not any more, since I insulated the supply ducts.
