Oversize Metal 10 Drawer Flat File Art Blueprint Storage Cabinet NYC Description: This listing is for a vintage Metal Flat File for the storage of artwork, drawings, photographs, prints, etc. which is perfect for a design professional, museum or gallery organization. This cabinet actually consists of (2) 5-drawer units set on top of a metal base. The top is a loose piece of plastic laminate on particle board which covers the top of the Flat File and keeps the dust out of the top drawer. Some of the drawers still have a canvas protector with a wide metal handle, which lays on top of the drawer contents. There is no brand name on this vintage metal storage cabinet. Dimensions: 66" wide x 44" deep x 39" tall Condition: Used, well over 50 years old. Approximately (4) of the (10) drawers of the Metal Flat File do stick and are hard to pull out. These require some attention, once moved to the final location. The plastic laminate top is slightly sagged but serviceable. Pickup from our NYC SOHO Offices on Weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. is preferred, since both the weight and size of the unit, make shipping expensive. We have access to the freight elevator in our non-union, NYC Soho commercial building, which opens directly at sidewalk level. Please submit questions prior to purchase.
