6CC42 Genuine Tesla Tube 2C51 5670 Halo Getter. Unique #220...Lot 618Genuine Tesla 6CC42 Twin Triode. Made in Roznov, Czechoslovakia. The tube is New Old Stock. What you see is what you get: this tube shelf age has been several decades now. There is no date code readable on the glass, but some other tubes from the same batch were manufactured in mid 60's. It comes with the halo getter. The tube has its individual number in yellow-greenish paint on top of the envelope. I intentionally did not clean the glass envelope, the tube may look a little ugly, but that is from storage and the amount of dust it collected while on the shelf. I did not want to compromise the markings. This delicate greenish paint tends to go off after even a gentle touch with a soft wet cloth so I left it untouched. WYSIWYG. Wonder why Tesla used this water based paint on their tubes. Other than that the tube is great. Made of purest materials at times before Tesla's tube production line was sold to JJ. I have more of them running on eBay listed individually as separate lots, check my other listings.I will combine multiple items for shipping.
