7 Chain repair shuts. links 5/16" and 3/8" assorted new & 2 used. For your heavy hauling needs: 7 chain repair devices. Mostly New Old Stock:  Peerless chain repair shuts, two size 2 and one size 4. Size 4 repairs 3/8" links and size 2 is for 5/16" links. Hook on and hit with a hammer. They look ugly but are easy to use when working in the field because there is always a hammer or back of an ax to pound with for a quick repair. See photo. One new cold shut 5/16", closes with a hammer, vise or large vise grip pliers. One Vintage quick chain link grabber. This goes back about 75 years. A unique design that allows a quick end link grab,  5/16". When the latch closes it locks under load so it is secure. It has the pitted look of age but is sound and ready to use. One PTX H44 link locker / grabber. Very old, something of a collectors item. For 1/2"--5/8" chain. It slips into the link sideways and holds under load or slip in welded loop on truck body. Very good for quick snubbing or tie down work. One screw on quick link closer 3/8" reuseable type used, tested perfect, closes tight without tools. Some of these are called "lap links" which I do not understand, but that is the name of the hammer shut type. Total weight of all pieces is 1 pound and 12 ounces.
