#77701 Sz 40" Vintage STALDER 1.75" Wide Garrison Style or Gun Belt BRASS Buckle This is for a Maybe USED, and I THINK VINTAGE, quality made Pants Belt, by STALDER MFG, out of Inglewood California. It is all BROWN TOP GRAIN LEATHER. The belt is well made, a Heavy thickness 8-9 ounce leather. The interior is a fully smooth finished leather. I see some vintage buckles on ebay for this, and it seems this was a well known company in the 40' and 50's with a wide line of Motorcycle and Trucker style belts. This is a made in the style of a POLICE or FIREMAN or others, GARRISON or UNDERBELT, which lays flat. and secures with a BRASS BUCKLE. This buckle snaps in and out for easy polishing. I suspect the buckle is not an original...original belts have a simple hook connector, this is a more conventinal horseshoe style. The belt is 1.75" wide. It can be worn as is, or for a GUN BELT or an UNDERBELT for uniform, or as a vintage match to your old buckles. It lays flat, smooth and sharp. The belt is marked size 40 It measures about 48" Overall There are 5 adjustment holes From the Buckle to the Nearest Hole = 38" From the Buckle to the Middle Hole is 40" From the Buckle to the Farthest Hole = 42" The belt will best fit 39"- 40" waist. I Highly suggest you actually measure your waist size, with pants on, thru the belt loops for an exact measurement. The belt is lightly USED, possible just long term stored. It has a nice top finish, no significant marks or scratches. The buckle has a little roughness, but is solid brass, not plated. Will polish well.
