A.K.A. a Scimeter or Cimeter  With Proprietary DexSteel Blade.   Dexter  knives are built to be both tough and sanitary. A  textured, white,  slip-resistant, easy-to-clean polypropylene handle withstands both high and low temperatures.  An impervious blade-to-handle seal provides the utmost in sanitary performance. Stain-Free, high-carbon steel blade, with an individually ground and honed edge. Excels in commercial use.   This knife is solid, built to last and to withstand the rigors of a professional kitchen!  Its pretty Heavy Duty and is a workhorse for sure. Its certain to endure a life-time of use and abuse.   This knife is brand new, unused but is stamped "factory seconds" and I buy them directly from the factory.  It is a "seconds" because it has a horizontal line on the blade, near where the blade and handle meet.  See photos 2 & 4.  That happens sometimes when the tool that inserts the blade into the handle leaves a mark behind.  It cannot be sold as a First Quality, So I buy them from Dexter Russell.  The blade also has a few minor "blemishes on it from being stored without any protection over it.  That's it! That's all that's wrong with it. Because of a minor cosmetic  issue, you can own this great knife  at a fraction of the Retail Price. Notice how perfect the cutting edge is in photos  6, 7, 8, 9 &10.  This knife is Super Sharp! Textured, White, Slip-Resistant Polypropylene Handle. Textured for Extra Gripping Power.
