Depending on silica gel beads condition, they may take shorter than the recommended time. Please check the silica gel beads color periodically. The beads can be reactivated indefinitely, providing a LIFETIME OF PROTECTION. STRONG MOISTURE ABSORPTION ABILITY The beads will begin to change colors at 20%RH and will complete changing colors at 50-60% RH. It can absorb more than 8% of its weight in water vapor and will begin changing colors.
