8" Tall x 1" Thick Economical Rigid Foam Dimensional 3D Sign Letters, Use for Business Signage, Messages, Decoration. Do it yourself and SAVE! This sale is for 1 New 8" tall x 1" thick (approx.) Three Dimensional Rigid Foam Sign Letter or Number or Punctuation. The letters are Gill Sans, all 8" tall and 1" thick, the width of each letter varies. Upper case letters only. The material color is pink. Description: This sign letter is very, very light weight, it is made from 1" thick XPS Rigid Foam Board. It can be easily trimmed or cut with a sharp utility knife or small hand saw if desired. Our tooling process may leave uneven fuzzy edge, but this does not affect the intended use of these letters. The fuzz can easily be hand sanded off with light duty sandpaper (sponge sandpaper works great for this). From a distance the fuzz is not noticeable. NOTE: These letters may require a little fuzz cleanup and painting but this allows us to offer them at a very economical price. Small nicks or scratches can be repaired with non-solvent wood putty, fill hole, let dry and sand lightly to a level surface, then paint. (We have used Elmer's brand non-solvent wood putty with good results). Recommended Use: Absolutely perfect for indoor signage and decorating. These are very versatile letters. The do-it-yourself-er can save money constructing their own easy-to-read sign or message or even their name and these letters look great! Similar size dimensional letters else where can sell for as much as $5 to $12 each. These letters are recommended for indoor use, however they can be used outdoors if your mounting prevents the wind from getting behind the letter and structural or spray adhesive is used for mounting. Mounting: These letters can be mounted with non-solvent glues, or adhesive caulks, structural adhesive, spray adhesive, double sided foam tape, adhesive backed magnetic tape, or even cellophane tape fasteners. Note: Solvent based glues or paints may dissolve the foam, test a small area on back before use if you are not sure. These letters are uniquely light enough to stick to a wall painted with magnetic paint (adhesive backed magnetic strips must be attached to back of letter). This makes letters easily movable for endless and instant indoor decorating possibilities. Painting: Can be painted with acrylic latex house paint or acrylic craft paints. Krylon (brand name) makes a "foam safe" latex spray paint called "H2O Latex".
