This Arthrotonic Stabilizer has rollers that roll up and down the spine from the neck to the tailbone. It is a great asset to loosen the spine  before a Chiropractic adjustment, breaking up fixations and/or beneficial to be used after an adjustment to cause quicker healing by releasing the blood supply to the vertebrae(s). It belonged to my roommates father who was a Chiropractor.  It is in good condition and would be a great purchase for a Chiropractor just starting up a Practice or for a seasoned Chiropractor that is adding satellite offices. This is a wonderful rolling massage table or spinalator. If you have back issues this will make a world of difference. This is a professional unit as used in a Chiropractic Office.  The company went out of business, but there are businesses that still carry parts, if you need any parts.  This one works.  My client is tired of moving it around so many times, so is willing to part with it.  The top comes off (where the patient lays) to reveal where the rollers roll up and down the spine, as well as the fuse box. The removable top (where the patient lays) has been totally rebuilt and has been reinforced with strong construction strength wood capable of holding any weight person which is covered with burgundy naugahyde. There is one small rip (about 1/2 inch) in the naugahyde but the burgundy pad covers that.  Some minor puncture holes, where the roommates cat thought he would scratch his paws.  MINOR.  Inside the stabilizer, parallel to the rollers, is a vertical bar. Opposite the bar on the outside of the stabilizer there is a 1/2 - 1 inch opening. There are two knobs that can be adjusted so that the rollers only go between whatever two spots the Dr. has set. The vertical bar is supposed to be touching the 1/2 - 1 inch opening and when the rollers touch one of those knobs, which touches the vertical bar, the rollers stop, reverse themselves and go the opposite direction. That vertical bar has been sprung backwards so, at this time, there is no contact with the knobs so no reversal action is possible. The vertical bar needs to be pulled forward so it once again has contact with the knobs and the reversal operation can happen, my client is too weak to do it.  Takes a strong woman or man power. Please email with questions as my client is very knowledgeable about the Arthrotonic Stabilizer.  We have no way to ship it but if you have a shipper, that can pick it up, we will work with you, otherwise it's pickup only and payment is through Paypal ONLY.   Stabilizer measures approximately 70" long x 22" wide and 24" tall.   It weighs between 350-400 pounds.  I don't know if the shipper would require a box built for it.  This was purchased new mid 80s.  48 continental states only if you're going to have it shipping.  I live in Arizona and she is in Dayton, Ohio.  Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
