959uF, 11kV, with nearly 60kJ of stored energy Latest technology to power rail guns and other electrokinetic devices currently being developed by the US Navy. Excellent for coil guns, these low inductance General Atomics 32931 capacitors are also well-suited for numerous other uses like wire exploders, metals forming, materials testing, etc. Units measure 16”L x 12”W x 14”H and weigh approximately 100 pounds with ground ring terminations. Capacitors may be ordered individually or in quantity, with larger orders be strapped on pallets for shipping by truck. The original cost of these units are nearly $10,000 each. Our price is significantly less. These capacitors are NOS (new old stock) in excellent working condition, with like-new performance. We have randomly sampled our inventory, and all have tested to their full listed specs. If you don't mind some paint chips and scratches, these capacitors will perform flawlessly.
