The CSI MiniMax Laboratory Molder is a small scale injection molding machine with the unique capability of performing mixing, extrusion and injection molding of many polymeric and pharmaceutical materials. The larger available cup size is 4.0 cubic centimeters, other smaller sizes available on special order. A number of micro-tensile samples may be quickly and precisely produced for research work. The instrument features an adjustable speed mixing drive. Temperature of the material is precisely controlled by a heater mounted on the mixing cup. The Mold may also be heated for ease of operation and to aid in the flow of the melt.
