This Hepa-Care unit is designed to last for 100,000 hours and it only has 1447 on it. That is 58 days so it is basically still new. This unit can treat up to 3500 to 4000 sq ft. The vent stack can be placed in the back or set on top. It is in the back now but where you need to put it is optional. The Hepa-Care is relativly light considering its size but very durable. It rolls easily across the floor and can fit thru any doorway. It is Certified as a Class II Medical Devices under FDA 510K and NRTL certified to conform with relevant UL and CSA safety standards and has user friendly controls. The filters are replaceable and can be bought at numerous websites at a reasonable cost and they are very easy to replace. The filter that is in the unit now is still in great shape ( see pics). It also has a Unique Zero-Bypass Dual Cabinet Design for Added assurance that contaminated air can't bypass the HEPA filter. I have priced this unit below used market price and I can honestly say that it is one of the nicer Hepa-Care Units on ebay. I let it run for 30 minutes and it was super quit with a really strong airflow. All the buttons light up as intended and they all funtion as intended. The wheels roll smoothly and the brakes on the casters work great. The cabinet is in really good cosmetic shape with very minimul scratches and the paint looks freat. The filters have plenty of use left in them. All in all I would say that this is an excellent unit for the price.
