This lot is valued at almost $500. Includes the double spiral Phoenix Theory Reference Dictionary, Phoenix Lessons 1 - 16 & Lessons 17 - 32, Phoenix Quick Reference Guide which is sort of a pocket edition of the huge dictionary, Phoenix Fast Track to Machine Shorthand Speed (drills for building more speed), Phoenix Reading Exercises, Phoenix Speed Plus (40, 50, 60 wpm) Phoenix Speed Plus II (70, 80 wpm), The Complete Phoenix Reference Dictionary CD ROM, Steno book stand, Metronome with batteries ready to use, 15 assorted cassette tapes. All materials are used with a lot, lot of life left in them. They have a few notes inside, and some highlighting, the covers are not ripped or torn. The covers are durable and heavy duty and some of them have been laminated. In my opinion, these are the best theory books on the market today. I have personally used the Phoenix Theory for 5 months and have found them to be excellent. I've taught myself using nothing besides these books and I will be employable within a couple of months. Using a good theory will make the difference between success or failure in stenography. 90% of students drop out of stenography in the first year alone. A good set of theory books will keep you happy and engaged in your work.
