 I received this in a trade, and know nothing about it's history .  However, I tested it in the following manner 1- I hooked it up to my 13 volt, 4 amp CB power supply, and the meter on the front of this 750 electronic load  read "13" and the ampmeter read "2" 2- then, by randomly fiddling with knobs and switches on front panel, I was able to raise the current to over 5 amps, at which time my CB power supply shut down ( due  to built in automatic current overload, I assume.) The above test *suggests* that this unit is working, but I cannot say for sure, and can't guarantee anything. There are two defects that I can see - first, the plastic back cover is missing, along with the fan filter. Second, the fuse holder is a bit loose, and I cannot see how to fix it. Shipping.  This unit will be double boxed, with lots of bubble wrap - but please note, this unit is heavy and postage reflects this.
