BRAND NEW TS AC128 & AC125 PNP Germanium Transistor Kit 8 pieces This is for a transistor kit that will include both AC128's and AC125's 8 transistors in all. These transistors were made in the early to mid 60's in Hungary by Tungsram and are new old stock never used and have full leads on all transistors.t Most of these transistors have HM marked on top of the transistors that means they have been produced, tested and selected for military use with strict military specs. All transistors are tested in a controlled environment of 74-76 degrees using the Peak Atlas DCA55. This is one of the best testers out there today and allows for very accurate testing of gain and leakage. Iv'e used the R.G. Keen method of testing transistors and compared them with the DCA55 and they were pretty much spot on. These are great for experimenting with fuzz pedals such as the Fuzz Face, Tone Bender MKI, MKII and the MK1.5, VOX Tone Bender, Marshall Super Fuzz, Buzzaround, Elka Dizzy Tone, Mosrite Fuzzrite, Fuzz Factory, Maestro Fuzz Tone, Dallas Rangemaster, Germanium Big Muff and many more or for just repairing vintage radios. Transistor 1 will have a gain of Hfe 40-49 Transistor 2 will have a gain of Hfe 50-59 Transistor 3 will have a gain of Hfe 60-69 Transistor 4 will have a gain of Hfe 70-79 Transistor 5 will have a gain of Hfe 80-89 Transistor 6 will have a gain of Hfe 90-99 Transistor 7 will have a gain of Hfe 100-109 Transistor 8 will have a gain of Hfe 110-119 Please Note: The picture above is to show you an example of what to expect in the kit and are not the exact gains you will receive. All transistors will have a leakage of IC= 0.30mA or lower. Most test on average around IC= 0.21mA and lower. Sorry no choice of gains or transistor type.
