This is the Teaching /Training material I received from MetalCrafter's Skill development program. This was a 4 week course I took for Acme-Gridly 6 spindle Screw machines. This includes complete 7 unit study material, as well as 7 Quiz booklets (all are completed with correct answers included). I also have my set-up notes in a 3 ring binder from actual production set-ups. (if you can read my writing). Units include: I           Machine Functions and Operations II         The Spindle Carrier System III        The Power Transmission System IV        Cutting Tools and Cross Slides V         Cutting Tools and End tool Slides VI        Common Attachments VII      Tooling Set-Up and Program review The Teacher also included Information he photocopied that he thought would be useful on Materials speeds and feeds (magic numbers) etc. In this day of modern CNC Manufacturing, the Screw machine is STILL an AWESOME example of High speed manufacturing.
