ACTICOAT Dressings are powerful enough to eliminate bacteria within the dressing and wound site, killing bacteria in as little as 30 minutes. This high-quality dressing is created with patented nanocrystalline technology that provides a unique antimicrobial barrier. The antimicrobial barrier remains effective for up to three days, making it convenient for both the patient and caregiver. This post offers ACTICOAT 4 x 4 Silver Coated Antimicrobial Barrier Dressing, available in a box of 12 dressings each measuring 4" X 4". ACTICOAT offers protection against a broad spectrum of wound microorganisms and can be used as an antimicrobial barrier layer over partial or full-thickness wounds such as diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, first and second-degree burns, and donor and recipient graft sites. Additionally, these dressings are five times faster than other types of silver dressings.
