ACUTEM HEMACOOL BLOOD REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER - NEVER USED. We purchased these blood transport refrigerators from the US Armed Forces. The government purchased them new, stored, never used them and then sold them to us. These refrigerator/freezers were made to government specifications so they are extremely sturdy, built to take the rigors of war and extremely versatile. In the COOL mode, these refrigerators will maintain an assigned temperature of 4 degrees C. In the FREEZE mode they are assigned a temperature of -22 degrees C. They can be operated with any AC voltage (100 to 250VAC) or any DC voltage (12 to 28VDC) or with its internal rechargeable batteries. In other words, it can be plugged in to any AC outlet anywhere in the world and to DC power on any vehicle with a 12VDC electrical system or any air plane with a 24VDC electrical system. They are extremely well insulated and maintain the assigned temperature to very close tolerances. The memory maintains a record of the temperature readings of the chamber and will even display a temperature graph on the LED display. A data port is also included to download temperature data to a computer or smart phone. Included with each refrigerator/freezer are copies of the Operation and Maintenance Manual and the Service and Repair Manual in hard copy and digital copies on three CDs. Also included are an AC power cord and a DC power cord. These transport refrigerator freezers were designed for taking blood supplies to remote areas or field hospitals. However, they should also serve well for transporting chemotherapy agents or other temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals. These refrigerator/freezers are ready to be put to good use.
