Manufacturer: Adept Technology Condition: Used. This cell is used and it shows. There is a light slick coating on all the parts inside, as well as a few chunky drippings of the gray RTV the previous owner was dispensing from this unit. A few SMEMA connectors are disconnected inside the cell with no obvious plugs to mate. There is a fiber optic sensor with the optics crushed and we're not sure where it should connect (this does power on and sense when the ends are touched together). There is some gray RTV left in the lines; if this is cured, all the lines, valves, pump, etc. will need to be cleaned or replaced before use. There is a door with broken hinges, currently stowed on top of the cell in case you want to use the door. Notes: This cell is in PARTIAL working condition. The computer powers on and loads the Adept controller software. We were able to use the keyboard and joystick to navigate through various screens in the software. The rest of the systems used with this cell were not hooked up during our tests, so we found errors we could not get past (e.g. error pump off, no pump is connected). We were able to pull the robot X and Y axes through their range of motion by hand. The motor amplifiers for the robot did not power on and we are not sure why. When the software said the red light on the stack light should have been on, no lights were lit and we are not sure why. The Keyence laser sensor readout changes as the sensor is moved over different obejects in the cell. The control/teach pendant did communicate with the controller but did not respond to button presses. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.
