***********$500.00 price reduction 10/4/14************* This auction is for an Alcatel/Adixen ATH1600 Magnetically Levitated Turbo Molecular Pump.  Included with the pump is an Alcatel/Adixen ACT1300 Turbo Pump Controller and the interconnect & power cables.  This is everything you need to run this pump.  The pumping speed of nitrogen is 1600 L/S.  In lieu of traditional bearings this pump's rotor is magnetically levitated.  Despite what you might think these pumps are very robust and forgiving.  If there is power loss to the controller the spinning rotor generates its own power to keep the rotor in suspension until the rotor reaches a slow speed.  The rotor will then drop on to the touch down bearing and safely stops and can be restarted when power is returned.  To prove this pump is operational I made a video of the pump starting and reaching its top speed of 39000 RPM and will supply it via email on request. I have 2 systems available if you need more than one. I show no returns but I will offer to give the recipient 2 days after receiving the pump to verify its operation. I WILL OFFER A RETURN ONLY IF THE PUMP SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK AS ADVERTISED!!!
