huge S T O P sign attention getter I designed this sign about 10 years ago for the late Don Slack who managed Lincoln Self Storage in Orange, California. The idea was to capitalize on the very popular ad campaign – GOT MILK. He said business was very slow and he needed to build it back up. I figured every time somebody saw it they would immediately think of the milk slogan until the next time they saw the milk ad and then hopefully our slogan would come to mind. It must have been effective because it hung at the front of the business for about 8 years. The sign is easily visible from a tenth of a mile or more away. Since I came up with the idea, sketched it out for his approval, and then created the CAD drawings to get it made I own the copyright on the concept and the wording or anything that resembles it until such time as I relinquish it to the next owner. My idea is that you would replace the second word, SPACES with one specific to your business needs. Some suggestions are: GOT ANTS?//GOT BUGS?//GOT BEER?//GOT BALLS?//GOT BRACES?//GOT BLING?//GOT BREAD?//GOT BRAKES?//GOT GAS?//GOT COIN?//GOT WEB?//GOT WIFI?//GOT SMOKES?//GOT PAIN?//GOT H2O?//GOT CASH?//GOT SHOES?//GOT SOCKS?//etc.etc.etc. - and, of course:GOT MILK? You get the idea. Use your imagination and a little time and paint and watch people notice and pay attention and hopefully flock to you and your enterprise. It has certainly worked so far! The sign measures 4 feet across any 2 flats and is over an eighth of an inch thick. It is made of T6 hardened aluminum and comes with 4 mounting chains that would suspend it between 2 high posts for maximum visibility. I think it might be quite a hassle and probably pretty expensive to ship something like this, but if you prefer it and are willing to pay for it I would get it done. Otherwise, I have specified LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! I have sold things that way before on eBay including a 600 pound surface plate so I know what I am doing. I will require payment-in-full via PayPal. As soon as you have purchased it I will contact you however you want and we can arrange a mutually acceptable time for you to conveniently pick it up. It is not heavy, but a bit bulky for a car.
