AEMC 3945-B PowerPad 3-Phase Power Quality Analyzer with 1200A Probe *NEW* $3895 Brand new in sealed factory box.   - Single, two-, or three-phase digital multimeter measures voltage, current, and frequency for use in energy metering, measuring transformer K-factor, and troubleshooting electrical problems in power systems - True RMS meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or nonlinear loads where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal or nonsinusoidal waveform - Measurements include kW, kVAR, PF, DPF, kWh, KVARh, kVAh, K-factor, and flicker - Data logging, transient capture, and event capture functions, an optical-coupled RS-232 port, and DataView software pilot the meter and provide comprehensive report - Meets IEC safety standard 61010 and is certified for Category III installations up to 600V, Category IV installations up to 600V, and Pollution Degree 2 for indoor use The AEMC 3945-B PowerPad three-phase, true RMS digital multimeter (also known as a multitester) measures voltage, current, and frequency for use in energy metering, measuring transformer K-factor, and troubleshooting electrical problems in power systems. The meter captures transients at 62.5 microseconds per sample. Measurements are displayed graphically using color-coded waveforms and numerically, and include kW, kVAR, PF, DPF, kWh, KVARh, kVAh, K-factor, and flicker. The meter captures voltage, current, power harmonics, transients down to 1/256th of a cycle, events, and screen captures. The meter has a 4MB internal data partition for recording and storing snapshots, transients, alarms, and trends. Data can be transferred to a computer using the RS-232 cable (included) and analyzed using the DataView software (included). The kit includes three color-coded current probes with 10' leads, four 10' color-coded voltage leads, four color-coded alligator clips, an RS-232 optically-coupled serial cable, DataView software, a NiMH rechargeable battery, a 120V US-style power cord, a carrying case, a soft carrying pouch, and instructions. This true RMS (root mean square) meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, such as standard induction motors and incandescent lights, where the current or voltage has an undistorted waveform, or nonlinear loads, such as electronic devices or motors, where the current or voltage has a distorted waveform. The meter is auto-ranging and automatically selects the correct operating range for the property being measured. The LCD captures and displays real-time measurements including voltage, current, and power harmonics (including direction) to the 50th order, and a screen snapshot function captures waveforms or other on-screen information. The meter meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for Category III installations up to 600V, which covers items used with enclosed building circuit installations (such as service panel parts, branch circuits, and fixed installations that are connected directly to a building's AC power supply), Category IV installations up to 600V, which covers equipment at the origin of the installation (such as electricity meters and primary over-current protection equipment), and Pollution Degree 2 for indoor use.
