This noise level indicator was made by Attention Getters, Inc. It is used in a classroom type of environment where the noise level is critical for all attendees to hear the teacher/professional speaker. The indicator is adjustable; noise levels differ in different settings/room sizes. The green light indicates when the noise is kept at a respectable level. If/when the noise level rises, the yellow light comes on to indicate that it is getting noisier in the setting, and if the noise level becomes even louder, the light then changes to red, indicating that the noise level is too high for all the others in the room, to hear the professional speaker. It is a very good tool for those teachers/professional speakers, who want to show their guest/students, when they are getting a little too loud & that they should quiet down in respect of the speaker and of the other guests/students! Perfect for teachers of K-12 and college professors. AGI is a well known maker of these indicators. This item is approx. 17" tall, 5.5" wide and 4.5" from front to back. It has it's electric/ac adapter included. In the front of the indicator, on the bottom front is the speakers; where an alarm can be heard when the noise has reached the max. dB allowed, as well as where the sound is received. It is black plastic with big bright lights. This unit can stand on it's own or it can be mounted to the wall (see attached picture).
