REG112 Agilent/HP 8118A 50 MHz Dual Channel Pulse Generator The Agilent/HP 8118A is a DC to 50MHz dual channel Pulse Generator. The 8118A has many standard features not available in many other Pulse Generators. Some of these features include variable transition time on the rise and fall, a built in 16kB/channel pattern generator and a built in strobe channel. Also featured are variable word and frame length, variable pulse width and delay, rise/fall time separately adjustable and a variable high/low level. HPIB is standard and built in. For serial applications, the Agilent/HP 8118A offers two data channels with full pulse-generator capability so that limiting parametric conditions can be measured during functional test. The channels can be added in order to simulate multilevel codes, such as HDB3 or 2B1Q. 16-kb memory in each channel gives plenty of space for ISDN data frames. In addition to the built-in editor, a non-supported HP BASIC program is available for setting up data. The Agilent/HP 8118A offer so much more than the standard Pulse Generator.
