For sale is one roll of Agilent Peelable Aluminum RT , 1500 ft. #24214-001. This is part of a surplus lot from a pharmaceutical company. Each box has a label with the Agilent address and a ship date of June, 2013. Each box has a handwritten notation “Exp. Date 5/24/14”. One of the boxes from the lot has manufacturer’s label that states “Best if used by November, 2014” but not all boxes are so labeled. Lists on Fisher Scientific site for $1,989. Please note ship cost prior to buying; box weighs 18 lbs. According to the manufacturer: Customers looking to avoid freeze-thaw cycles of valuable compounds in DMSO which also require the convenience of peelable heats seals, will find this material resistant to delamination. This material was developed in response to the growing trend to store compounds in DMSO for several weeks or up to 12 months at room temperature. Also suitable in applications where the samples will ultimately be stored at freezer temperatures as low as -80°C, but where the samples may not go directly into the freezer (they maybe held for days at room temperature first). Seal integrity range -80°C to 40°C. May be pierced with the Agilent Seal Piercer. Recommended for use with the Agilent Gas Purging PlateLoc.
