Agilent Technologies G2545A Hybridization Oven For sale- an Agilent Technologies G2545A Hybridization Oven. Complete specs and info are available here on the Agilent website, where you will note that a new one goes for almost $4K and that might not include the rotor, not sure about that. On that same page you can find a link to the manual downloads for this unit. The oven is in great physical condition. Initially I thought the switch for turning the rotor on was broken, but I finally noticed that it just has an interlock that stops it from turning when the door is open (although you can then push the switch to the JOG position to move it around to more conveniently access the rotor). There are some small scratches on the upper front edge of the control panel, probably from getting moved to surplus. And a ding to the access door on the left side, I am guessing if you were so inclined you could remove that door and pound it flat again with a hammer. Other than that it could almost pass for new, and certainly looks as good as any piece of lab equipment needs to look. With the set point at 50 degrees C it ran up to that and just a bit over, but after a brief time on the computer when I came back it was sitting solidly on 50.0 so thermostatically it is functional, and the speed control for the rotor, or rotator as Agilent refers to it, works as well. That is the extent of my testing and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. The rotator holds up to 24 hybridization chambers, although I have no idea what a hybridization chamber might be and NONE are included.
