AirClean 4000 Workstation ductless fume hood  Description:  AirClean Systems ductless fume hoods, workstations and enclosures are designed to protect the operator, process or both from toxic vapors, fumes, gases and particulate. For process protection, an AirClean Systems laminar flow hood provides a clean work area for amplification or manipulation. At the heart of all AirClean Systems fume hoods, workstations and enclosures is a revolutionary gas phase bonded carbon filter. This unique filter, found only in AirClean Systems safety products, eliminates filter dusting and dead zones associated with traditional granular carbon filters. Each unit uses a microprocessor-based automatic safety controller, keeping a constant check on airflow and filter quality, and alerting the operator in the event of filter saturation.  Features on SolidTech Unit:  • AirSafe™ automatic safety controller  • Vertical sliding safety glass sash  • Dual wall construction allows for front mounting of services such as water, gas, or electrical outlets.  • Access to panels on either side of the hood enable field service of all fixtures.  • FlowSmooth™ airfoil on sash lip promotes laminar airflow  • Polypropylene construction for excellent chemical resistant properties.
