This listing is for Used Deuterium DT-1000CE Light Source from Analytical Instrument Systems Inc. The L2D2 lamp has been replaced quite recently, has around 400+ hours on it. The lamp has the UV Fused Silica Fiber optical collimator from Ocean Optics to accept standard laser 3.2mm ferrules and universal power supply adapter which is configured for 120V right now but can be reconfigured in a minute to one of the available options: 100/110/120/220/240V 50/60Hz. The core of UV light source is 30W Deuterium lamp (L2D2 type on Hamamatsu Socket). The lamp of this type is available everywhere and is frequent guest on ebay. On top of manual control AIS DT-1000CE model has embedded option of remote control and can be connected to the computer or any other instrument with the Remote control port option to control the light source remotely. The light source powers up and emits UV light after 30sec warm-up time (please see pictures of actual emission spectra for both UV and VIS), the VIS light is emitted immediately after activation. Physical condition of unit is still good in spite of the years in service (please see close look pictures). The unit has the following dimensions: 7x8x11in and weights around 10lbs.
