Our lease is ending and we are closing a laundry-only plant/substation on October 31. This is the second of two Ajax double topper pants presses that we are selling. (Please see my other listings. We are also selling a full 15 hp Fulton Low NOx boiler system, a touch up board, and a self-contained spotting board.). The Ajax toppers were originally purchased in 1999 and were installed in a full dry cleaning/laundry plant. This plant was never successful and finally closed in 2006. The laundry equipment was transferred to a 2000 sq. ft. substation and installed hoping to give the customers the impression of a full plant. Initially it worked, but sales tapered off and the laundry plant was operated 2-3 days per week. In 2011, the substation suffered a decline in sales due to major road construction and the sales have never really come back. Since that time, the plant has only been operated occasionally as a back-up to our main plant. In short, the press has been lightly used and has a lot of life left. The press is located in Conroe, TX (north of Houston) and must be picked up prior to October 31. If shipping is needed, we will help to palletize the press. Shipping arrangements are for buyer's account. The press is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. The auction is a no reserve auction.
