Akiles WireMac Combo 3:1 pitch Twin Loop Wire & Plastic Comb Binding Machine DUOMAC C31. Used in excellent condition. Used (like new) to bind less than 100 calendars, then business plan changed and no longer using this machine. Still in original package. Package material look worn due to storage for some time. The Akiles WireMac-Combo is a combination binding machine that does the work of two individual units! With both wire and comb punching dies, this versatile and easy-to-use combination binder allows you to punch & bind 3:1 pitch wire spines as well as plastic comb spines in a single machine without changing punching dies. Its open punching throat and continuous punching guide allows easy alignment and punching of longer documents. Product Features Available in 3:1 (3 holes per inch)  pitch for wire binding Standard comb spine pitch (19 rings) Independent punch handles for the wire and comb punching Independent comb opener and wire closer handles Vertical Wire Closer: This closer is conveniently located on the front of the machine and is designed to close your "C" shaped wire spines so that they become round Heavy-Duty Punch Motor: Capable of punching commercial volume work Reverse (Anti-Jam) Function: For trouble free punching Disengageable Die Pins: All dies can be independently disengaged, to allow the punching of any size document while preventing partial punches Open Punching Throat: 14" width punching capacity with open sides for even wider documents Punching Guide: Allows easy alignment and punching of longer documents Punch Margin Control: Provides the correct punching margin depth needed for all wire sizes and maximizes the documents tear resistance; vital for bindings over 3/8" Master Selector: Determines the correct: wire diameter, closing position, depth margin & wire pitch Wire Snatch: Holds the wire in place for an easier inserting of sheets Wire Closer Selector: Adjusted to prevent any under/over closing, for a secure closure every time you bind Side Margin Control: Aligns the document for consistent punching every time Waste Compartment: Front side Heavy-duty all metal construction make this a high quality lasting machine
