ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a Huck Model 200 Installation Tool in excellent used condition. The Huck Model 200 is designed to install a wide range of fasteners requiring a double action or single action installation procedure. Power, speed and accuracy are obtained through a pneumatic-hydraulic intensifier system powered by 90 - 100 psi air pressure. Adapters are available (NOT INCLUDED), which allow either Huck 350 series, 352 series or 200 series nose assemblies to be attached and used. Includes three (3) 200 Series Nose Assemblies: 99-459 for MLS100-06 3/16” fasteners, 99-589 for B-06 3/16” blind bolts, MS90353-06, and MS90354-06 3/16” fasteners, and 99-600 B-05 5/32” blind bolts. A wide variety of additional nose assemblies are readily available for this tool on eBay and from other sources, at reasonable prices. A rebuilt Huck 200 without any nose assemblies can cost you from around $1,400 to over $4,000: E-AIRTOOL: $1,380.00 CLEAR AIR TOOLS: $4,750.00 This listing includes the Huck 200 installation tool, the three nose assemblies, new Huck stickers, a 1/4" NPT air coupler, nose assembly retaining nut, instruction manual, and data sheets for each of the nose assemblies. ITEM CONDITION: This tool is in excellent, very clean overall condition. It has some nicks, scuffs scratches, chipped and worn paint from normal use. It has no engraving marks. The nose assemblies are in excellent condition with good jaws. I have personally taken them apart, removed any corrosion, cleaned, polished, and lubricated all parts, and reassembled them. I tested this Huck 200 tool with air supply attached and it appears to cycle properly and strongly, with no air or fluid leaks. I don’t have any appropriate fasteners for these nose assembles, so no additional testing was performed, but I’m confident the tool works properly. A NOTE ABOUT USED PNEUDRAULIC RIVETING TOOLS: PLEASE READ, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WORLD OF PNEUDRAULIC TOOLS!!! I am NOT a certified air hydraulic/pneudraulic riveting tool mechanic or technician. But I have been buying/selling/operating/refurbishing these types of tools for a number of years, and I’ve gained some experience. For anyone who is interested, these are my observations. Anyone looking at this listing knows that many used air hydraulic / pneudraulic riveting tools are sold on ebay. They are typically listed as “as is”, “not sure if it’s working”, “I have no way of testing it”, or maybe even “it works great!”, and leave it at that. The truth is more complicated and there’s always some risk involved in buying one of these tools used. Unless you KNOW that the tool is new or recently rebuilt, or unless you take it apart, it’s difficult to determine its actual working condition, and how long it will last before it does need a rebuild. First and foremost, if you are going to be using your own Cherry, GBP, Huck, and other pneudraulic riveting tools, you MUST have a hydraulic fluid bleeder tool! For Cherry and GBP tools, this is usually a specially designed bottle or syringe. For Huck and other tools, it could be an accordion-shaped bleeder. The bleeder will tell you a lot about the condition of the tool without opening the tool up. The bleeder bottle will remove any trapped air in the hydraulic system, top up the fluid, and keep your riveter working at maximum performance. A pneudraulic riveting tool is a high-pressure device containing many seals/gaskets. If some of the seals are a little worn, air will slowly creep back into the system, but the tool will still work fine as long as you bleed and top it up regularly. Eventually, the seals will wear to the point where you need to rebuild the tool. Note that some of the seals will wear out over time simply from age, even if you don’t use the tool. When you operate the tool, you may seem some vapor/mist blowing out around the trigger area as well as the air exhaust, typically located at the bottom of the tool. It’s normal to see some vapor but it can also be misleading and indicate trouble. You need to put a plastic bag under the exhaust, cycle the tool several times, and see what residue is left. Is it hydraulic oil, or just condensation from the water in your air compressor lines mixed with some air tool oil? Hard to tell. Most people probably do not have a truly professional properly filtered compressed air source, so sometimes, the natural water condensation in your air compressor lines, mixed with air tool oil, will appear to be hydraulic oil. Even if your tool is blowing a small bit of internal hydraulic oil, you may be able to work the tool just fine and for a long time before you need a rebuild, as long as you bleed the tool and top it up regularly. So, when I sell you a tool and indicate that its working condition is from fair to excellent, I mean that in the context of what I have described here. Because of all the variables, I won’t offer any guarantees, but I’ll do my best to describe the tool’s condition and operation. Feel free to ask any additional questions.
