The Allen-Bradley 22A-D8P7N104 is an industrial equipment that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley, primarily used to implement speed control of industrial AC motors. This product is part of the PowerFlex 4, Scalar control capable Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). The 22A-D8P7N104 features features an integrated Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) brake and a fixed keypad used for local configuration and control of the drive. It also has an integral RS485 communication interface used for networking of the drive following daisy-chain topology and supporting remote configuration and operation with the use of DriveExplorer or DriveTools SP software. The same communication interface is also used for full integration to Logix controller platform such as ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers. Studio 5000 Design Environment software, particularly the Logix Designer programming software is used to directly gain access to the drive’s monitoring and control parameters. The 22A-D8P7N104 is designed to be operated with an input voltage supply range of 342-528 VAC, 3-phase, input current of 9.0 Ampere along a frequency range of 48-63 Hz. It is capable of providing output voltage ranging from 0-460VAC, frequency of 0-240Hz, and continuous output current of 8.7 Amperes.
