Alsident System 75 Part Number 75-3590-3-7-5 Fume Extraction Arm For sale- an Alsident System 75 Part Number 75-3590-3-7-5. As you can see it is new, still in the factory plastic bag although that has been torn up quite a bit, probably due to the way it was unceremoniously tossed into an old crate with a bunch of other Alsident pieces, most of which have already been sold. It looks like it is made from PVC, but in fact this is the chemical resistant (CR) version, made from polypropylene (PP). I assume that if you are looking at this you already know what it is for, spot removal of hazardous fumes in the workplace. But if you need more info I found a place on the Alsident website here that not only has specs and info for this but a number of downloads of the manual, mounting instructions, brochure, etc. So please do your own homework there before you buy. The 75-3590-3 is a 3 joint wall or ceiling mount vent version. I think the last couple of numbers only designate the color which as you can see is white. The sale includes the Ceiling Column as pictured, which I measure at about 39” long so that would make it the 1000mm version which they designate 1000/40 (part number 2-1000). They have the ceiling side capped with rubber or something on the one in the picture, but I don’t see why you couldn’t peel that off and use it that way, as the side vent is also capped. So I won’t speculate as to whether the ceiling column is a -80 or -20 suffix. Again, the ceiling mount is included IF you want it and the shipping cost reflects its inclusion. IF you don’t need it please let me know and the shipping cost will be reduced accordingly. I think it is missing the small screws that would be used to attach the plastic to the ceiling column. Nothing a trip to the hardware store can’t fix I would guess. Obviously untested but I sold a dozen other new ones plus several used ones that I got in the same lot, and all of those when out to good reviews. I have more than several of the same ceiling columns like you see here left without the rest of the arm assembly, if you can use any of those please drop me a note. Check back often! I will under NO circumstances ship it UPS, the people there don’t seem to be smart enough to handle a shipment charged to the recipients account, nor do they appear to be smart enough to correct their mistake after the fact. This will require a very long box that I probably will not have in hand when you purchase, which means I will have to go out and buy a box. That can delay the shipment by several days, please be patient.
