WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR VISITING ITEM DESCRIPTION: This auction is for used ALTO SHAAM SELF-CONTAINED VENTLESS FRYER W BUILD-IN ANSUL / COOK HOOD. I just bought this machine on local auction and did not test it - sold "as is". I had a chance to talk with original owner and he told me that he used it till last minute his restaurant closed. Still, I noticed several deficiencies that I am listing below. PLEASE ADVISE, I INSPECTED THIS MACHINE AND HERE ARE MY OBSERVATIONS: 1. Fire suppression was activated and machine needs new pressure cartridge bottle. I noticed few pressure cartridges on e-bay for $25-$49 but really not sure which are exact brand proper fittings (professional installer will know). Red bottle (with ansul liquid) had lots of corrosion (small holes) on it so I will include 1 of ansul bottles that I have - see pictures (old and new red bottles - I will ship you both). My bottle is bit bigger and will need hose fittings (not 100% sure but I believe that standard 1/2' to 3/4" needs to be fitted to replace old bottle and fit new). It appears that my bottle is full w liquid. 2 or 3 metal lines and couple of elbows that are housing metal string (from hand actuator switch to pressure cartridge firing mechanism - located on side of hood) need to be replaced when new bottles are installed and firing mechanism is set. I noticed that some of those pipes are damaged and need replacement so firing mechanism can be activated smooth/by hand. It is possible that string will activate pressure cartridge even if this pipes are not replaced (just better secured) but I would recommend replacement. This pipes are standard metal string conduit pipes. I pulled old pressure cartridge and ansul bottle so I can make better pictures - I will place them back in their original place before shipping (so you know their exact position and the way they are mounted into machine/system). 2. This is used machine and there are smaller and bigger dents all over - please, contact me to set best time to inspect in person. 3. Needs cleaning (I cleaned some of oil from cooking vat, but this machine will need to be heated-up and then pressure washed to be better cleaned). THIS WAS JUST MY 10 MIN. VISUAL AND NON-PROFESSIONAL OBSERVATION - THIS IS USED AND UNTESTED MACHINE - THERE MAY BE OTHER DEFICIENCIES THAT I DID NOT NOTICE. PLEASE, INSPECT IN PERSON.
