This is 500 feet of 15 gauge NEVER-RUST TM. aluminum electric fence wire.  This electric fence wire is manufactured from a high quality mechanical aluminum alloy.  This alloy gives the aluminum wire excellent strength and ductility that makes it perfect for electric fence. The aluminum wire will conduct electricity four times better than galvanized steel wire and eight times better than stainless steel wire.  The aluminum wire will never develop red rust although some normal dulling of the surface will appear over time.  Aluminum produces an oxide coating that protects the wire from rusty flaking and most corrosion.  The aluminum wire weighs 1/3 the weight of steel wire of the same diameter. Aluminum wire has been called the "horse safe" wire because the wire will not cut the horse but rather will break and fall to the ground should an animal run into the wire.  The aluminum wire is bright and shiny making it very visible to all livestock, especially horses. The aluminum wire can be installed without all the high tensile accessories or the strong "H" braced corners required for steel wires.
