This auction is for a Vintage Brass American Injector Mechanical Grease Cup Lubricator , model Star Number No. 4 . This compression type of greaser has a 1/4" through grease hole , 1/2" npt base mounting threads , 2" diameter , grease cup cap ( top ) is 1 1/4" tall and overall stands 2 1/2" tall ( as seen in picture #1 ) . This compression grease cup was universally used by numerous manufacturers on a wide variety of bearings needing intermittent lubrication , you have my measurements so do your homework for proper fitment and placement for your applications . This U.S.A. made in Detroit , Mich. solid brass lubricator is crack free , clean and is ready to go back to work or display . Please note the top cap does have reverse threads that smoothly turns in and out and when twisting cap to apply grease the mounting base should not loosen .
