A pocket CATALOG from 1949 of American Nails, Brads, Spikes, Staples, from American Steel & Wire, a division of United States Steel. This CATALOG contains 66 pages (including covers). This has a 2 page index, with over 120 listings. Has a foreword, description, and nail vocabulary. Also covers coating and finishes, packaging, price chart per pound, diameters and sizes, and charts and sizes of each individual item. Also a wire size chart. This is an excellent piece of educational history. If you read this booklet, you will know virtually everything there is to know about the topic, as it is covered in depth. Also included is a section on barbed wire, poultry netting and square barge and boat spikes. Excellent condition for a 65 year old paper booklet with hard cardstock cover. Hand-written name and date on the frontice page. Has minor wear on binding edge, as can be seen in the first scan. Red "spot" is a price sticker, to be removed by buyer, as I don't want to damage the cover. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Payment and Shipping Policy I accept PayPal.
