I have been using this lathe for many, many years in my clock repair shop. When I purchased the lathe used it didn't have a tail stock then, but for my intended use I didn't need a tail stock. I used the lathe mostly for chucking up clock gear wheels to polish pivots, because it was fast. I have other lathes I use for lathe turning and making parts. The lathe works perfectly, strong motor (note reverse / forward) switch. foot pedal allows easy control of speed from slow to full blast.  With the lathe you will receive 57 collets  plus a tin with a variety of other collets and parts. There is nothing wrong with this lathe and as I said I have used it up until the day before this auction. I weighed everything pictured (less packaging) and it looks like about 20 lbs plus packaging which I am going to figure at about 5 lbs.
