So trusted ... It becomes the personal instrument.  It goes where you go ... in your pocket.  Always ready, always accurate.  1. Frame is precision cast, aluminum alloy. Rugged but so light the gage never tires operators performing hour after hour inspection. Contoured to fit comfortably in your hand. Serrated thumb grip assures non-slip positioning.  2. You have finger tip control of contact retraction. Move finger back slightly, upper contact is raised. Release serrated retraction wheel, contact seats on part or material under uniform spring pressure, free of operator influence.  3. Large dial has sharp, well defined graduations for unmistakable direct readings through clear, unbreakable crystal. Bright red count hand shows distance between contacts in tenths of an inch. Add reading of large hand to get direct reading of total dimension (.135" in illustration). 4. Spindle moves in very precise bearings, so the flat, .250" diameter contacts maintain parallelism accuracy. Other types of contacts available (see over). 5. Precise zero setting is easy. Turn slotted friction screw to rotate dial so zero aligns exactly with zero when contacts are closed.
