Product Description The AMICO Power ST-1S auto-darkening welding helmet has professional grade features at an entry level price! The ST-1S is designed to protect the eyes and face from specks, spatter, and harmful radiation under normal welding conditions. The Auto-darkening filter automatically changes from a light state to a dark state in only 1/25000S when an arc is struck and it returns to the light state when welding stops. The adjustable sensitivity and response time, auto-darkening filter, and lightweight shell design makes this helmet the smart choice among other welding helmets. Features: • Extreme lightweight shell design - Reduces neck tension and fatigue • Large 3-3/4 in. x 1-3/4 in. lens-Higher visibility when welding • Auto-darkening filter – Adjusts from light to dark in 1/25000S (at room temperature) • Sensitivity Adjustment Control-Adjusts for different welding environments • Delay Adjustment Control-Adjusts from “dark” back to “light” state • Side-mounted DIN adjustment-Selects shades from 9-13 • UV/IR protection-Shields your face and eyes from harmful rays. • Complies with EN169 standards for welding filters • Two way adjustable head band-Ensures a comfortable fit • Solar-powered design-Eliminates the hassle of changing batteries • ANSI Z87.1Certified (American National Standard for Occupational and Educational Personal Eye and Face Protection Devices)
