This probe is a differential temperature scanner that compares the temperature of electrical equipment or any target to the surrounding environment (ambient). It is a passive device and does not send any signal out;, instead, it responds to the natural infrared radiation emitted.Performance characteristics: 4:1 ratio Field-of-view. 0.1 mV/degree C (temp rise above probe temp).Output signal. 1 degree C accuracy. -50 F to 1200 F target temperature range.  -50 F to 175 F operating temperature range. Construction: Droppable, sealed, no moving parts, water resistant.
