AMS Sensit 3 Vending Machine Model AMS G9-624, 24 Bays Sensit 3 models are versatile, high-capacity vending machines. They can be set up as combination machines, food machines or retail product. AMS machines are designed, tested, and built to provide years of reliable, low-maintenance service in an indoor environment. A fully insulated cabinet, DEX data capability, and flexible product configuration are just some of the many features built into every AMS merchandiser. The Sensit 3 system is a patented vend-sensing system that detects when products fall into the delivery bin. They come standard with vend sensors, MDB (credit card compatible) and DEX. Also, the healthy graphics are great at attracting a broad spectrum of customers! The top three shelves have a coil count of 15 while the bottom three have a coil count of 18. Made in the USA. Condition: Item was originally purchased new and custom wrapped by the vendor but was never put into service. There are is little to no sign of use or wear. Credit/Debit functions illuminate and search for a signal. All sections function with the exception of the lighting in the bottom compartment. We were unable to diagnose the cause of the light not functioning. More about AMS: Automated Merchandising Systems, most often known as AMS, was founded in 1997 by Roy Steeley, a veteran in the vending industry. Steeley’s experience dates back to the 1930’s when he began his career in vending with Victor Products (Hagerstown, MD), and later joined Dixie-Narco (Ranson, WV), climbing the professional ladder to serve as President and finally retire at the age of 67. Steeley came out of retirement in 1988 and founded Royal Vendors (Kearneysville, WV) to manufacture a line of innovative packaged cold beverage machines. He sold Royal Vendors in 1996 to Coin Acceptors Inc. (St. Louis, MO) and retired for a second time. Steeley came out of retirement once more to found Automated Merchandising Systems in 1997. Again with unique, innovative technology, Steeley transformed the vending industry in the form of a glass front snack machine with a novel vend verification feature, “Sensit,” and ground breaking cabinet design that uses insulating foam as a structural element.
