The AMSEC home security safe offers an unbeatable value, featuring a mocha fabric interior including backcover and fire walls with durable American Oak wood finish interior. The AMSEC AM4020E5 Home Security Safe features a Mercury fire label, which means it will withstand an exterior heat temperature of 1200 for 30 minutes without the interior temperature exceeded 350 degrees. This is not bad for a home safe in this price range. The exterior paint is the traditional Amsec deep blue textured finish and a raised American Security logo in polished chrome on the door. The 3 interior shelves are an American Oak laminate and add both function and beauty to the interior. We have also included a Mocha fabric interior including backcover that adds to the beauty as well. Along with the blue textured finish, the AMSEC Model AM4020E5 home security safe has external hinges that provide complete access to the interior and allow the door to be opened a full 180 degrees. There is a "L" handle on the door. These features provide a handsome look that will compliment any trophy room or den. For security, the Amsec AM4020E5 home security safe includes a 12 gauge solid steel shell with a 1 1/8" door that is recessed. The door thickness includes 1/4" solid steel with the balance of fire insulating material. Also featured are 5 active 1 1/4" bolts in a three way configuration along with the ESL5 electronic lock with illuminted keypad standard. A dial combination lock is available as an upgrade for an extra charge. There are also 4 anchor holes which, when used, increase the forcible entry protection.
