90-page bound volume of some sample typefaces available for the Ludlow Typograph Co. hot type line-casting machine. No date on the book itself, but there are two loose insert pages offering to exchange used Ludlow matrix fonts for new equipment, and those pages are dated Nov. 1, 1940.  The book is somewhat newer than that. 8-1/2" by 11-1/2". The cover is printed on a thin film, and attached to the front and back covers; some of the film has bubbled or peeled off in places and taken some of the printing with it, as you can see.  The book is offered as-is. The inside pages are fresh and intact, with no dog-ears, missing pages, moisture damage, mold, foxing, burns, smudges or other marring.
