The Anodyne Therapy System is a non invasive, drug free device that delivers a Monochromatic InfraRed Energy (MIRE) through Infrared Light Emitting Diodes mounted in flexible therapy pads. This light is not visible to the human eye. When the therapy pads are placed in direct contact with the skin, the infrared light is absorbed by cells in the body and blood vessels begin to dilate, resulting in increased circulation in that area. Increased blood circulation stimulates healing and relieves pain. Anodyne Therapy is cleared by FDA for temporarily increasing circulation and reducing pain, stiffness and muscle spasm. Therefore, any condition that would benefit from these indications may benefit from the effects of this infrared therapy device. Anodyne Therapy may be used safely over: • Any part of the body including the spine • Metal implants, pins, screws • Pacemakers and defibrillators. Specifications: * Preset energy setting for safety at 600 mw per therapy array * Wavelength - 890 nm * 60 infrared diodes per therapy array * Pulsed energy - 292 times per sec * Lightweight and portable.
